What kind of clear paint did you use? I used rattle can clear on my Hot Trick chassis, just whatever HomeDepot had. Came out pretty well.
I've done it too, with tamiya clearcoat for their TS paint (must be tamiya TS clearcoat :mrgreen: ). It's got so much surface tension this thing that I could get a wetlook on my yrf-2 chassis which was initially pretty battered :)

I think it was just krylon rattle and i used satin finish if i remember right.
