Thanks guys! Big thank you to Jeff. Those are your shock towers on the podium buddy! I can't wait until Chris posts the videos of the race. I always review and study them to see where I could improve to cut down my lap times. I played it too cautious in qualifying and then got a slow marshal after a traction roll. My lap times should have made me the TQ. I was out in front of the pack and in my mind I thought I was in the lead so I eased up and concentrated on not making any mistakes. It was a bad strategy that ended with me being in fourth position for the A main. Competition was stiff, but I battled my way to first and held it for quite a few laps. I finally made an error and fell off the side of the hip jump which placed me back in second. Despite setting the fastest lap times in the main, I couldn't catch the leader again and had to settle for second place. My heart was pounding and I was smiling from ear to ear. I love racing wheel to wheel with good competition.
