Not too bad but It needed more power, so I installed a brushless setup I had laying around. It does great for a vintage buggy, but no hope of it ever being competitive with modern buggies on a turf track. Turf tracks are very unforgiving. I've always considered the old goldpans to be very durable cars, but the stress and impacts it sees while running at my track is more than the parts can handle at times.

Nice' im not sure if i will ever step up to brushless or LiPo. I have no idea if there are any tracks near me. I will probably just bash around the road and yard or skate park and get my daughters into it possibly, oldest is 5. I bought her a 1/10 starter truck from Aldi for sale at $15, lol. Its taking a beating and has a 30 mn run time. Are the modern hobby grade buggies, trucks and other types more durable than these dinosaurs?
