Mutt’s New B6!

Post by Ucsdmutt »

Got a great deal from a guy at my track for a semi new B6. Semi new as in he won a kit in a race built it and put his hop up parts from his old B6 and sold it to me for $220. Unfortunately he is now sponsored by Kyosho, and he is loving the RB6.6, the car came with a new body so I threw some paint on it. I think I’m just going to buy custom painted bodies, I don’t know how you guys paint so professionally, of course the pros don’t use rattle-cans

Nice looking ride! I agree, rattle cans for myself as well, folks tend to not give enough credit to those who can paint well, it is not easy!

Looks like you have some go fast goodies on your car. Where do you race at?

The site is a little old, but it’s close by and is where I primarily drive http://www.controlledchaosraceway.com/index.html

A little bit further, haven’t raced there yet but very soon http://www.hotrodhobbies.com

Does anyone else have issues with the Reedy 600Z case breaking from landing hard jumps. You know when you jump and you land right on the apex of the next jump! Maybe this crappy ESC is only good for bashing? This is the second one I've broke, I sent the first one in for warranty but I give up now. I've actually CV glued it and it is much more solikd now that before. I also ordered the stock hobbywing metal case ESC for $50! Eventaully I may get the Reedy Blackbox 510 for around $180 since that is all metal as well. Thoughts?
