B1M mid motor RC10
Building Brian’s B1M conversion kit. Which arrived superfast from the States
maybe be the 1st in the Uk ?. first thing I will say it’s not a shelf Queen . So its not spotless it gets raced . I mess about and change set ups a fair bit . Car for the conversion is a worlds rere , and now has a carbon works chassis .

Re: B1M mid motor RC10
1st job strip the gearbox of my worlds and take everything of the back , diff didn’t feel fantastic so that was stripped and rebuilt . New gearbox was then Prepared as Brian excellent instructions . Which is a must read , when building . I used the end of the plastic associated tool to help push the bearings home . As not to damage anything .
Re: B1M mid motor RC10
Going together great .can see the tool I used to help push in the bearings on the right . That bottle of tri flow oil is 30 years old ! Still great stuff . Each bearing had a drop
Re: B1M mid motor RC10
Next gearbox half’s come together , there’s a small gap when you screw the two half’s down the Center . But once the motor plate is fitted that was gone .Made sure not to go to tight on the 4 gearbox screws

Rear dampers are Kyosho RB6 big bore 30w oil .front Standerd Worlds dampers 32w . Esc is going to be a hobbywing 120A . Steering jconcepts , futaba bls551 mini servo . Motor LRP 7 .5 x20 which is great as long as you can keep the front wheels on the deck
