A&L Trailing Arm/RC10 Worlds
I've got this build going rather well now, still need a few more parts and work to get it rolling. Most of the Associated parts were sourced from eBay "chop shop" sellers.
The other cool stuff from various online shops...
A&L Trailing Arm Kit and BB Steering Kit
RC Carbon Works carbon fiber chassis, front and rear shock towers
TQ Wire
Reedy Blackbox 410R ESC and Mach 3 17.5 Brushless Motor
Savox 1251MG servo
JConcepts finned Ti turnbuckles
Lots of Lunsford Ti hardware

Looking good. I have a set of A&L trailing arms waiting for a future project. I was thinking on a tub but you may have just changed my mind. Welcome by the way!

Thanks man. I'm really pleased with how it's turning out. I started with the A&L RC10C2 (black fiberglass chassis) kit. I failed to read the description properly/ask questions, to find it was for the 6 gear transmission! So, I begin searching for a solution which would allow me to use a Stealth tranny. That lead me to RC Carbon Works, which had a drilling guide plate. Further looking on the site lead me to their 3mm carbon fiber chassis and rear shock tower. I was sold!

Dang, wish you had asked- I've drilled several for stealths and lethal weapons on request. With the bulkhead moved forward on the C2 it also requires drilling the motor guard which is easy with a stock brace as a template.NomadRacer wrote: ↑Sun Apr 30, 2017 7:27 am Thanks man. That said, the carbon looks great and should perform well! For anyone wanting to use this carbon chassis, the C1 trailing arm conversion kit is cheaper since it lacks the chassis, and deletes the motor guard which isn't needed with a stealth trans.

I think I have it "right" for the next buggy with a custom C2 kit and a blue Lethal Weapon transmission on the way
I'll keep the 6-gear chassis plate and motor guard in my stash. Maybe somebody will need it and I can pass it on... karma.

Re: A&L Trailing Arm/RC10 Worlds
Installed the RC Carbon Works top deck and a Bolink Funco 2-seater body. I may get another one because I'd like it to come forward a little more. It's been quite awhile since I've trimmed and mounted a 1/10 scale lexan body!

Sweet build! have you run it yet? I'm planning to run a 13.5T combo in mine since this is MUCH lighter than a tub chassis - it shouldn't need much power haha
