rc10t truck bodies
hey guys im new to your forum and i was wondering if there is any current truck bodies out there for the old school RC10t that i can use for some racing? I dont want to really chop up any originals nor pay the price just to have my two girls that will be racing with me trash them if you know what i mean. I really dont prefer to mod the mounts either. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Re: rc10t truck bodies
I havent tried it, but another forum member did use a T4 body on there, but I think he did a little movement on the rear mounts.

The T2 body is a direct fit. I wonder if they'll actually come off backorder at Horizon... You can try ordering directly from Associated too.

Re: rc10t truck bodies
I had a T4 Body I was going to use that looked AWESOME (I was going to delicately remove the "4" from all the stickers so it would say RC10T
), but had to let it go in a deal recently. I will be looking for another, for sure. The Front Posts would need to be "spread" a bit, but like you, I didnt want to "modify" any of the Original Parts. So, I was going to make a "Plate" that would mount where the Original Posts did, that had Wider Mounting Points for the Posts themselves. The Rear looked like it would be no problem, just do the Holes for the Oringinal Posts. Seemed VERY simple to do..to me, but I could VERY easily be wrong.

As far as mounts go, try RPM.
Depends on the purist attitude, but these could work so not to have to widen existing holes.

Re: rc10t truck bodies
ive actually found that with moving the posts around and adding small nuts with a longer screw to my rc10t, moving the rear post mounts upwards on the towers, i can add just about any body i want. ill attach picture when i get it taken.
