So I got one of those flashy sparkly Flashback RC towers which uses the inner hole only on the front tower.... Guess my RPM ballcups won't work?
I really despise the "green" stock ones

no matter what tower you use thats gonna happen with rpm ballcups in that position. There is multiple threads around telling a fix of it. Shorter ball studs help, some go with 2 stock white ballcups in that spot. Some do both. I'm sure if you can't find the thread that was here recently about it someone will chime in with part numbers and such...

Thanks for the quick words, I was thinking of just swapping those cups out. I originally had them in an outer hole on an RC Carbon tower and they cleared fine. Inner hole....not so much

It does, I was pretty bummed I actually finished wiring this car before I left the country for work. I got home and went to install them and I'm like crap...I wired the car already. So i'm holding on the rear right now

Yeah, gotta run the short ball studs with the rpm cups. One on each side of the tower and one on each outer bellcrank.

Yes, but the ones I've got before weren't aluminum (at least tower says they're aluminum). Not totally sure those actually are though, unless they changed something the last few years. Mine weren't.

Hey OP, I think you want P/N 3981? I've used those in that location and they're steel.

#9145 are short on the ball end but have the longer thread to have enough meat on the other side of the shock tower for a nut.
