Cadillac RC10 set screw size - Front lower shock mount

Post by Trailsnail »

Does anyone know what size allen wrench/hex is needed for the set screw on the lower front shock mount on a cadillac era RC10 buggy? I have the manual but this is not listed in the tool section at the beginning or on the step where this is installed.

I'm also curious if most people clean up and re-use the original screws on restorations. Most of the black hex screws have surface rust. Thanks for any help.

If your talking about the screw that retains the pin holding the shock to the arm on a short arm car, it's an .050
