It looks to be the old original style that tapers down judging by the pictures as opposed to the newer straight axle.

I'm almost positive those are the purple ones I sold on ebay. If so, they're the old style that taper.

I agree. I see the taper now under further review. Darn. The saga continues.

Close to completed. Still needs some finishing touches, and waiting on a few parts and decals. I will be changing out the slipper and spur, and need to properly mount the body.

I used a new vintage AE Titanium hingepin set through out the truck. All the ball studs are new gold Ti units. The drives are vintage MIP aluminum cvds. Vintage RPM transmission. I am using titanium hardware through out.

I'm at a loss for words. The attention to detail and that paint job! I raise my glass to this build

Thanks guys. A lot of time and money went into it. Can't wait to get the final items finished and call it complete.

Looks great Adam...if you aren't going to be running it

Those 3 piece wheels won't hold that soft new rubber very well unless you did something to reinforce them or glued them.

Yes, these old wheels are just for looks. I will likely be converting things over to accept modern wheels and rear hubs/drive. Still not sure what exactly to do with this truck now. It is too pretty to run hard, but too capable to be a shelf queen. Most of my trucks end up on the shelf though...

well you did give fair warning about it going to be too nice to run :P

Run it...run it hard and eventually you'll not want it for the shelf

It is an Andy's body. The makes the molds and paints them. You can find him on eBay.
