Re: YR4M2 Pro to 870c/YZ10 Dogfighter Mish Mash conversion
Hi guys. Do you know if the yr4 chassis would have the same length as the 870c chassis?
Re: YR4M2 Pro to 870c/YZ10 Dogfighter Mish Mash conversion
New stuff on the way but what has arrived is a set of Works legs which I have put on. I'm really thinking that a full chassis and top deck is going to have to happen but that can wait for now.
I did use a rear bulkhead for the front to cancel out the angle which also lets the front legs dangle properly too.
I'm struggling to find either YZ10 or YR4 bulkhead caps for when I do go for the full size chassis but hopefully some will appear on eBay soon. Pics below

Update:
New old stock parts arrived today. 870c front upright, custom YZ10 rear upright, Hotdog4 rear driveshafts and vertex' and also the temporary use of the shocks and track rods from my Cougar just to keep everything together.

Looks good man. I've done a conversion of my own. Earlier Yr-4 but similar concept. Check out the thread. Could be inspirational.

They asked me what I was thinking!? I simply told them... I wasn't.

the black bulkhead caps for early yr4 show up from time to time on ebay as the least expensive option. white bulkhead caps in good condition are tough to find easily.
