Finally dug the 10T out of the closet! **UPDATED**
Yesterday I had some time on my hands so I decided to dig the 10T out of the closet and see what it's gonna need. It is a "B" stamp chassis and it is in pretty nice shape and appears to be all stock and original for the most part, except for the rear body mount setup. Looks like I'll need to find a couple of the small white rear body posts or use one of my RPM adjustable 10T body mount kits that I have. I'm Also going to need a gear cover for it as usual. I also have the multi piece wheels for it and new body shell tucked away in a bin somewhere. I'd like to do a box art build with this one, even though it's not pristine or perfect.

Thanks, it really doesn't have much wear and tear, the biggest issue is the rusty turnbuckles and drive shafts, probably from sitting out in a garage or something over the years. I'll clean them up and wipe them down with gun oil and replace anything if needed.

White plastics team trucks are sexy as hell. I never get enough of them! Good find

Re: Finally dug the 10T out of the closet
OK, I haven't touched this truck in awhile, so it's time to start getting something done on it......
I started cleaning up the rusty turnbuckles with some elbow grease and gun oil. They cleaned up pretty good for now. I was missing the rear body posts, so I decided to install my vintage RPM adjustable body mount set, front bumper and centerlink.
I got my decals for the worlds car inspired 10t body and I decided to use it on this truck instead of my other beat up 10t.
More to follow......

Re: Finally dug the 10T out of the closet
I was able to remove some old velcro and some clear tape from inside the chassis, I'm guessing the clear tape was to protect the chassis somehow. Took me a while to clean all the sticky gunk out with some acetone, but it came out nice and revealed a nice chassis.
Sticking with the worlds theme, some yellow wheels were in order.
Also some new foams, I can't stand the stock proline foams.
And then onto my least favorite thing to do in the world.....GLUE TIRES!
Finished product....well almost finished, still have some more work to don on this truck including figuring out what I'm going to run in in it for motor / esc.

The body is totally sweet. And the wheels are helping the look! Nice truck. Did you race it a little bit bitd? chassis looks loamy dirt track faded.
Hope you're doin' something fun.
