RC10 Edinger Ebay purchase
RC10 Edinger Ebay purchase
Recently acquired this Edinger from E bay, any ideas ? I kinda want to find a radio and battery pack and keep it as period correct as possible.

Re: RC10 Edinger Ebay purchase
Welcome to the boards. Nice RC10 but looks more like a Cadillac rather than an Edinger. What's the address on the motor label?
If you post the model of the servos I'm sure someone could tell you the matching receiver and radio for them.

Lower cups on shocks do not have a split, Motor says Edinger address.

Re: RC10 Edinger Ebay purchase
Hmm. Some parts might have gotten replaced with Caddy parts. Tires and rear wheel knock-offs don't belong to an Edinger but the gear cover does.
What RC10resto asked and also do the steering servo savers have a hump around the center link mounting holes?

Re: RC10 Edinger Ebay purchase
Branded tires are Cadillac tires but that clear gear cover is an early to mid Edinger part.
I'm probably sounding like a nitpicking elitist. Sorry if I do.
You've got a nice RC10 left just the way it is. If you feel like taking on a project though there's some Caddy parts on the car that need Edinger replacements. Or a few Edinger parts that need to be replaced with Caddy parts.

Re: RC10 Edinger Ebay purchase
A Late Edinger (generally) is the same as an Early Cadillac except for the Motor Label and Box address.
And the over used "Edinger" description only really makes a difference when it is Early or Mid
