Traxxas buying up part of HPI?

Just repeating what was posted elsewhere. Might be interesting. If Traxxas took over all they would do is gold plate the molds for whatever hpi already makes, change the color of the plastics and bodies a few times and triple the prices. Seems to be their recipe

Yep, that's the word. Someone was taking too much money out of the company and upset the shareholders, company went into voluntary administration and Traxxas bought HPI. Not clear if it's only Europe but speculation is it could be HPI world wide.

At least that's what I've been told.
