It sounds like its more a matter of the pad being worn... if you scuff it clean again it will grip better.

It just slips all the time when I hit full throttle, i'll check the pad but the slipper hasn't had much use as I almost always used to run it locked when racing. I think i'll just make a slipper eliminator for it anyway.
