Yeah just, though I had to take off some excess material from around the top hole of tower.. Problem is the lower area. Like I said I haven't given up just all over the shop at the moment with projects but I'll figure it out...

Got it sorted with the bb and the old gt style body,though the shock angle is less than ideal I think.. Probably best for the shelf I think and use the gt2 for running. Will track test the original gt body at some stage but first run's will be gt2..

Getting there, I would try lower GT arm mounts, flip the rod end to the other side of the hub, and space the ballstud on the tower. Some custom works hubs with the vertical ball studs would probably be a better option though.

Or just use the standard shocks and put the BB's on the 10M

Don't have any other shocks an spent enough already Tried the link on the other side of hub but gear cover is a problem and from memory it had a lot of movement compared to standard and thought about spacing the stud out but you then come closer to gear cover and with the longer truck rears you don't really need the lower mount for droop. Would require a heap of limiters or shorter shaft and the shock ends up right where you don't need it compared to the camber link...... I think I'm happy with the GT2 as a runner and the GT body I'm just unsure how the shock angle would effect handling if run without spacing the tower out from bulkhead.....

The problem with the shocks angled forward is that it goes against the sweep of the arm.

How did fitment of the body go if you spaced the tower back enough to obtain proper shock angles?

The GT2 body fits quite well. I'll buy the early GT body from you if you don't have a use for it

From memory I moved it about 2mm could maybe go a little more. Hard to say really without mocking it up. It's cool mate I'll keep it for the shelf life later ...

Here's a trailer that I made out of a Folgers can to carry batteries to the park in the mid 90's. It worked really well for what it was.

Half of the time the batteries went flying down the street trying to see how fast the truck and trailer would go.

Wow, that's quite impressive. Are these shelfers, racers, bashers? Definitely unmistakable

I'm not sure how to paint my E-GT. I'm not even sure the square GT body fits the long wheel base.

The 10M's will be used,how much I'm not sure yet.. The lazer definitely shelf body only,wether I run the lazer is a good question I haven't answered yet As for the GT on my 10M short nose short rear an it's tight with BB. Your doing a GT e conversion aren't you mate? Thanks they are an easy paint scheme for a newb with tamiya cans like me...

They turned out really well.

Yeah, doing an E conversion on blue pan..... Why I don't know.

Looking at normal GT's I doubt big bores would even fit, not without major shock tower spacing.
