If it's from the international warehouse it would be high but from the west coast my entire lot was $13 shipping

DOH!
Thought I had hit it from the west warehouse but thats one line down from the one I used. Now the west and east USA warehouses are out so I can't even find a postal quote on them...oh well. Must be the sign from above that I don't need any more crap

Re: Off topic...my first modern buggy!
Sat down tonight and cut out some real towers. The plastic is so...ugly. I made these out of some scrap 1/8" material and will make the battery brace soon. I have some ideas to run a shorty pack and allow a lot of adjustability without using foam blocks
I love that you can run a full size pack with mid motor configuration too.

How durable are the stock plastics, i.e. the shock towers, control arms? Are they stiff enough that they don't flex?

The BSR Basher BZ-222 was on sale at hobby king so I nabbed one. I should have bought 4
-big bores
-alloy chassis
-belt drive trans with sealed gear diff and slipper
-rear or mid motor
-cv's
-3500kv brushless motor and speed control
-NOT a cab forward body! Preprinted scheme looks good!
-the tiniest radio you can imagine (but still, it came with one)
It was $49.99 (the deal is over, sorry)
This price point competes with New Bright's middle of the road stuff!
It's taken a little bit of playing around with stuff to get it right, like a poor fitting CV and belt tensioner issues because of the locktite used, but I still can't get over what a bargain it was. It will be a good Basher
Thanks for posting that dude, I've just joined the club - my first modern RC!! £42 shipped in the UK as ARR. Hopefully one of my 2.4GHZ TX will work.

Yeah the stock radio is crap anyway, never seen one so tiny. Looks like a tyco!
As far as plastics, they are allegedly holding up well except the front c hubs which are (good news) $1.30 or so for the set and (bad news) currently on back order. Apart from that and the towers breaking, I haven't heard of arms or other pieces being a problem. Durb broke his C hub almost immediately on the track. Good possibility there is compatibility with another car, just need to scope it out

Re: Off topic...my first modern buggy!
I just snagged the 4wd pro for $99, ARR as well, same electronics I use in a handful of my cars. They offered local pick up as a shipping option, but it would be quite a drive for me from CA
Damn Jeff, already making parts?
