are T4 cvd's different from the gT/t2?

Post by aconsola »

I got a set of shiny cvd bones in with a set of GT parts. They are too long to git the GT, but only by a little. I pictured them below next to a set of aluminum cvd that I know fit the GT. Are these perhaps T4 bones?
if not any ideas as to what they may fit?

the gt, t2 and I believe t3 all used 87.3mm (3.44") and the t4 uses 89mm (3.5")

I think those are longer than T4 bones. Like Cmain said, the T4 bones are only about 1.5mm longer than standard GT bones. T4 bones work in the GT no problem. I have run nothing but T4 bones in all my GT's for the last couple of years. I also use the T4 axles and spacers, but you can use just the bones with GT axles.

Thanks justin, I guess I shouldn't just eyeball them. I measured and the gt bone is 87.39, this shiny bone is 92.07. I wonder what it fits?

They may be for a Losi. I'm not sure exactly, but I think some of the Losi ST's had some pretty long bones. I think MIP has the lengths listed on their website.

I just checked the MIP site, I couldn't find a list. It seems like I have seen it somewhere though?
