New Vintage Losi and Schumacher SIGs

Post by Synergy »

Please can I have some advice regarding a reasonable date to classify as vintage as far a Losi would be concerned, I guess around a certain model maybe :? I intend setting a special interest group up on TC (there isn't one for Losi cars at the moment  ) and need a cut off date for a car to qualify. Any advice would be greatfully received, thanks.

I would do it at the LXT and Pro SE level. The next derivative was the XX, a total redesign, whereas up to the LXT/SE days, most of the parts where the same. Unfortunately I don't have dates.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

I agree, the cutoff should be at the pro SE and LXT level. These were the last losi cars that could be traced to the jrx2 bloodline.

Jrx2 - 1988
JrxT - 1989
Jrx-Pro - 1990
Junior 2 - 1991
Junior T - 1991
Jrx pro SE - 1992
LXT - 1992

Regards,
highwayracer

Great info thank you very much :D , so 1992 and before it is then.

If you are a TC members and you have any models that qualify please sign up to the Vintage Team Losi SIG. For those of you who don't use the SIG facility you might wonder what use it is :? I find it the easiest way to search for groups of models or types of cars. The reason I use TC is for its showroom facilities and this is just another way of categorising your cars and making it easy for others to find them, so while you're there sign up to the RC10 SIGs to

Thank you.

I'd join in the fun, but 6 months later, I'm still waiting for approval from the owners. I gave up after a week of waiting.

How exactly does one join the SIG? I don't see any links or areas to join the group.

Not a real intuitive site, is it. :?

It takes a bit of getting used to, if you go to the SIG there should be an option shown under the most recent photos that says "click here to apply", you will need to be logged in, I guess you are a paid member with the ability to have a showroom :?:
