And I actually don't think it would be too hard to find something like that with an adhesive backing at Home Depot, Lowes, etc....maybe a craft store.

This is my rere Classic that was mint in box. The box was burnt in my recent house fire, some of the plastic bags melted and everything soaking wet from the fire men. I took every part out of the melted bags but not one was damaged. The fire men must have just got there in time. I did intend to use this as a runner and it was in my workshop ready to build when the fire broke out. My other Classic was safe up stairs with only a little smoke damage that I have since cleaned off and will remain MIB. I will keep the intended runner now as a queen.

All stock from the box other than aluminium wheels from eBay (I believe made by a member here), they are very nice quality! I added a new Yokomo stock motor that had a bad label, so I peeled that off and got a nice new Team Associated stock motor label from UltraHIVE. The chrome, blue and graphics on the UltraHive label are a perfect replica. The paint scheme is from the Classic Manual and is a Curtis Husting paint scheme. The body was done by VintageAE. I used Tamiya PS black first to paint the fog lights, and the chrome section is Alclad chrome on top of the black. The decals are from two sets of Classic sheets.

Thats stunning Slotcarrod - looks perfect! I really think that Gold Pan RC10s look best with black as the main colour on the bodyshell, just contrasts so well with the gold chassis & shock parts.

One day I will re-build & finish off the original #6010 RC10 that I have - its a car that was built & run maybe once - but the shell/wing/driver was never cut out or painted... your RC10 is definately inspiration for that car

Thanks guys, I agree! The black combo just pops out. When VAE did one for himself, I just had to beg him to paint one for me.

So with this rere, I'm going to later add a restored Novak T4, a vintage Futaba RX and servo. The battery will be changed to a more "retro" yellow two side shrink wrapped and then taped pack with a seventh cell on top.

Hey Rod, I don't know too much about the new stuff, does that VTS slipper setup fit on the B4 top drive? I'd like to do that with my Worlds as well.

Yes it fits perfect! You just need an RPM gear cover!

Good god is that a nice looking RC10. Jeez, one of my favorites, ever. Just goes to show that keeping things simple can make for a really good ride.
