NOS TRX3 build (completed)

Post by vintageguy »

I have always liked the TRX3 so finished building this one. I picked it up from a buddy of mine that started building it but never finished. It is my latest build with a few option parts. The hardest part to find was the MIP CVD Kit.

Hey that buggy looks great. Those MIP axles are hard to find. Those dudes in HK seem to have some sets that become available from time to time.

You should build a runner with the chassis decks you didn't use. Front bulkhead, motor plate and battery box would be the only hurdles. The bellcranks and posts are hard to find also but I've always wanted to slap an A&L steering setup n a TRX-3. Only deal there would be extending the posts to the top plate, or a guy could get a little thicker top deck made without the steering post holes.

Alright, I'll leave you alone now. Oh, yeah, what are your plans for the body/paint? Ok, I'm done.

NICE BUGGY.

Edit: hey just noticed missing TRX 2633, nylon spacers on the kingpins between the caster blocks and the steering blocks: http://wondertrail.com/radio-control/rc-model-parts/traxxas-rc-model-parts/traxxas-parts-2000-2999/tx2633pa-spacers-nylon-3x6x1.5mm-12.html

Mark, I'm not sure what my overall plans are for this buggy.
