One tip I learned to taking great pictures of shiny objects is to get really good lighting on the subject, and turn off the camera's flash. The flash-back is what messes up pictures of shiny objects. :)

Looks great in your display case there! I also have a soft spot for the Big Bears! Nice looking example.
