Vintage 1/8th build, need dating and radio gear opinions.

I'm not an 1/8 gas guy, I'm a 1/12th and 235mm pan guy. But this looked fun, and here we are.

A) Guess on exact age and model

B) What might be good radio gear for it.

I think it's an SG Futura V, not sure on date. likely 79-83? But need to pin down date so that the radio gear better matches the car.

I stuck in some of the old Early Futaba's... I think they're to early for the build.

Hi Bob, i believe this is a SG Futura 111S. I have the same model...just need to clean it up a bit.
