Sorry for what may be a question with an obvious answer. I'm just wading back in RC and determined to finish some restorations started years ago, and also to run some older cars I have.
I'm trying to understand the measurement standards for wheels and tires.
I'm not following the differences between 1.9", 2" 2.2" wheels and the tires that are meant to match. Meaning; what measurement does 2.2" represent on a wheel? I assume something related to diameter, but for example I have a set of old Duratrax aluminum rims where the header card indicates 1.9" (part n# DTXC4023) but the measured diameter of the outer lip on the rim is 2.3".
There's no measurement I have found that reads 1.9..
I have these tires on some RC10 jelly beans(why this is in the buggy forum, not sure who reads other forums, but this gets the most attention).
Anyone recognize them? The sidewall says ADVAN, and they are worn, but judging by the pattern on the one...

The credit should actually go to my co-worker Yoichi. I knew they weren't HPI and I was fairly sure they were probaby from Japan. Yoichi recognized them and gave me the link. Looks like the Willy's Wheeler was a Japan-only product. Glad to help...
I picked up some dirt hawgs for a B2 I recently picked up. So B2 wheels are supposed to be 2.2 correct? These tires look to be slightly too big for these rims, has anyone else ever seen this?
also the foam looks way to big, especially...

nah, it's a b2 i picked up on ebay for a song.....needed a couple a screws and tires, and she should clean up nice! Just wanted to run something that will be a nice asphalt/grass/dirt kind of tire for running around the yard/street.
There must be a way to Convert RC10T to take Hex Wheel & Tires.
Does anyone have any information on that.
Thanks in advance.

Here is a pic of my RC10T using the B4.2/SC10 front setup and Associated rear hexs #9892. If you have 1/4 axles with dog bones you can get #9670 axle stubs from amain along with bearings, shims CSW7048, pins CSW7204, red orings 5407. I used...
I recently got my hands on some TQ70 front tires, and am having a difficult time finding wheels for these as they are 2.0 . The two sets of wheels i have for my RC10's are 2.1 .
I would really like to get some 3 piece wheels for these. Does these...
I'm trying to get some ground clearance so I can run my T4.1 in the grass in my yard. I noticed most of the wheels and tires are from Traxxas with the hex hub. I noticed Team Associated has come out with the 12mm clamping hex but I'm not sure of the...

I know this is an older thread, but figured I'd answer. The TRX wheels do use 12mm hexes, and the Talon is an awesome all terrain type tire. I run them on my beast GT:
However, while putting them on the rear with adapters is a snap, mounting...
These were listed as RC RC10 on road & front buggy Car Wheels and Tires lot . Just wondering about their specific designations.

The bummer about the Black Ones is that they are a Front and a Rear.
What about the Yellow Rears in the first pic? They seem a bit big for a Buggy. They have a Cross Pin looking Drive setup, but there are also 2 extra holes in the back that...
I recently purchased a NDS and I'd like to convert it to electric using a slightly used 10T chasis. I will need some tires and rims. What do you gents recommend I'd get? I do plan on racing it every now and then. Thanks in advance.

when I first talked with Johnny about it he told me to use SC10 front hex so thats what I did its...
