Question i have a Worlds, team and CE rc10 after rebuilding the Rc10ce last week i lined up the three buggies then noticed the front shock towers were at different angles the worlds lent most far back the ce most up right. Are the nose plates different or the angle of the Front Arm Mounts different, i also have quite bad bump steer on the CE but not on the worlds or team car.
Also i put a straight edge across the bottom of the chassis the gold ce chassis dead straight the team car and the worlds black tubs have slight curve front to rear. hope this makes sense

Re: Nose plate, front shock tower angle
all the nose plates are nominally 30 degrees kickup, so mounts and shock towers should all agree. bear in mind you need to compare with the main chassis' at the same angle, so any shock height adjustment front and rear will affect the natural angle of the main chassis, leading to what could appear to be front kick angle differences based on the shock tower angle.
there is a little bit of production variation and tweak that can occur, but it should be within a few degrees. The tubs can certainly have a little bit of a curve to them as well.

Re: Nose plate, front shock tower angle
Thanks jwscab, after reading what you said i measured the kick up and found the problem after a few measurements, i put some new black nose brace tubes on the CE and they are a few mm longer from side drilled holes to the front mount holes a file should sort this problem thank you
