RC10 Andy's truck conversion
Just bought a RC10. This had been converted to a truck back in the days by the seller, then changed back to a regular RC10 again. Seller told me the parts had been an Andy's truck conversion kit. I know Andy's 1/12 and 1/10 scale bodies but have no clue on a truck conversion kit. Someone know the conversion kit and when this was sold?

These wheels came with the truck parts also. Not sure if they had been used, I hardly can see any wear.
Tires say Traxxas, wheels don´t know.

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

They're Proline wheels for the Blackfoot. Andy's sold adapters for them too.V12 wrote:These wheels came with the truck parts also. Not sure if they had been used, I hardly can see any wear.

You know it never registered with me, before seeing that catalog, that the Andy's Pro Race front end not only pre-dates the RPM Worlds front end by a year or two, but it also came out with a narrow front kick-up before the RC10T debuted. What's more, the Andy's Pro-Race bulkhead will even mount to a truck noseplate.

Re: RC10 Andy's truck conversion
Thanks guys, a lot of interesting informations.
But I´m sure the Andy's truck parts were introduced before 1990.
I asked the seller of my RC10 when he got the RC10 but he´s not sure, but he said for sure before 1990.
He got the RC10 and the truck conversion kit as a birthday present when he was a young kid.
The RC10 was built as a truck right from the beginning and had been run just one or two times as he actually was too young for this or didn´t really have the interest for this. Unfortunately the truck body has gone at some point.
I will post pics of the RC10 later at the buggy forum. Maybe this helps also with timeframe for the Andy's parts.
