Why stop there? Let's do a short course and pan car

Hopefully these are it! Last night i made two input/output shafts by pinning idlers to shafts, since we are still waiting on the RR parts. Over the next couple days i hope to get the car together. I still need to make nose tubes, but i have the material. I also got the 199 and 198 tooth belts, so i can finalize the belt length.

OMG that is awesome! The Hot Trick chassis is killer! Is there a link to a build thread?

Yes please...Hurry up already! lol jk. Nice work can't wait.
Have a few little things to replace and wrap up (like powdercoating the engine mount). I've had the powdercoated chassis sitting around for ages and finally decided to put it to good use. Haven't decided on the wheels yet. Don't like the plastic MIP...

WOW!! I'm impressed. The MIP 4wd conversions where hard to get new!! I guess you guys never got rid of anything, huh?
I'm not entirely sure why I'm starting this project, but every once in a while a thought pops in my head and I finally decided to put it to paper...and g10. The kickup is Kydex for mockup, the rest is basically finished and usable. Bump steer is...

think its time for a jrx2 5 link mip 4-10 build!! :)
Hi
After a long layoff, I'm working on my MIP 4WD conversion. So far I have both front and rear gearboxes and the cable installed. I had to bend the front chassis braces, and now it looks like I will need to add spacers to join them to the front...

Wow great pictures ! That car is very well done. I'll have to get back to work on mine. Thanks for posting these.
I had an anonymous member commission a build. He wanted the chassis anodized in a Hot Trick Red as well as a few other requests like the Lunsford titanium.
On this Ten4, I decided to use the cut noseplate in short wheelbase mode. This leaves the...

Wow, that's beautiful! Nice work Jeff!
You can build a Ten4 in either short or long gone WB, only a couple minor differences from one to the other. ;-)
OK OK even I got caught up in the last MIP announcement . Should have known. So, lets do it again. The Ten4 was good, but the parts are just all out of date. The B44 front axles especially. Materials have vastly improved. Ideas have improved....

Very cool Jeff. How did you fit the smaller RC10 wheels on your Ten4?
This has been in the works for about 2 years and at one time I had pictures of the original parts assembly but in the meantime I lost my external hard drive where I had stored the pictures so this is all I have to show.
The original SP-2 4wd kit...

This is my favorite RC10 build of all time. So many great details and rare pieces all put together perfectly. Just love it! Great work!
I've had these thoughts swimming around my head for a couple of years. I've always wanted to combine a MIP 4-10 kit with a fully hopped up Rough Rider SRB chassis. I needed to do some R&D with parts to see if my idea would work. So before I start...

Blue and gold works so well... and that transmission is so mythical, this should clearly end in a BotY kind of final competition when done!
