Hello all i am new on hear, i have been racing my Rc10 worlds re re since last year and love driving it so far indoors on carpet, outdoors grass and astrotuff and love racing it i have rebuilt the diff a few times and it dose the job, i was wondering if there is a gear diff option available or a improved diff such as mip ect or any tips on what plates, balls, thrush race, grease to use?
thanks veeza
No gear diff that I know of, but the stock diff is excellent even for carpet. Just use the AE black grease and Stealth lubes, and build as per instructions.
I bought my re-release second hand and found out it a ceramic diff balls, a few weeks a go while giving the buggy a shake down before a race, the gearbox started making a noise after investigation one of the diff rings had split the diff had seamed rough before this happened
part my fault for not replacing the balls and diff rings and i had it to tight, i took your advice and read a few tips on the 2.25 transmission .Now new associated diff balls and plates all cleaned and re greased and its silky smooth now
thanks for the reply
I put a Castle 3800 in my worlds car and ran it a little on the street , Wheelies at will ! We went to the beach so I put some paddle tires on it. After about 5 minutes it stopped running, took the trans apart to find that the diff ball holes were...

My guess is on the clay track your diff is set so the tire grip would be lost before the diff slips. With modern sticky tires and powerful brushless motors the diff slipping would likely quickly cause catastrophe as it would likely overheat and...
Hello All,
By replacing RC10 stock bulkhead with NIX63231 bulkhead, you'll be able to mount RC10B4 transmission to your RC10 tub or carbon chassis. You don't even need RC10 Stealth transmission holes as this one mounts to stock bulkhead holes and...

NIX63231 + B4.x gearbox + B6 gear diff.
If needed, you can easily shim the gearbox up to get diff gear just above chassis. Or make a small groove to chassis.
The diff thrust bolt got loose on my RC10 WC Stealth transmission at the VONATS. Also the bolt was getting stripped.
Yes... it was on the correct side. :-)
I was using dogbones and not CVAs.
I didn't put the plastic cap over the bolt after...

It has been a while... I haven't run the new car since it dropped out of the 2019 Vintage Off Road Nationals. Afterwards I took out the electronics and put them in my B6.1. Therefore I haven't been able to tell if my re-assembled diff are going to...
Hello,
Can anyone please help me with what parts I can use from other models ie b5 etc to rebuild the diff with gears on a RC10 B4? if this can be done at all? I would like a spare transmission ready for me just in case as the original b4 gears...

Hi, thanks for the reply this info is helping, I've also found out how good the the transmission is out of the box and that I have the Stealth RC10 B4. Could you please recommend a diff gear grease at all? as this buggy is new to me. Thanks.
It turns out that the ham fisted chap that I got my poor old Team car off of had taken all the balls from the diff then glued the cup drives into the drive gear, making one big locked together lump. I've driven my other RC stuff with a...

They did not make a gear diff for the original stealth. Pretty much that was a time period ball diff standard. and was an upgrade on every rc car ot go to.
The stealth with the b4 slipper set up should be good for an 8.5 brushelss
