CAT swb recommision

Post by Danf1275 »

Recent aquisition, a one careful owner CAT swb. According to chap I bought it off, he bought it new and raced it solely on grass in the Cardiff area. Even the tyres are original.

Plan is to recommision, for use as occasional gentle runner. Original motor and esc will hopefully be retained. Main item to source is front bumper, although I might make one if nothing turns up.

A little progess made, fully stripped. Unusually for a chassis of such an age, it has been well treated and shows no signs of 'make do and mend' revisions. Only mod is a notch in lower pan to clear servo saver, but has been cleanly made, so does not look too bad.

Back end rebuilt, nothing to report. Other than re-glueing discs back onto integrator hubs, everything is in great condition.
