family get together on sunday.

i really wanted to race tonight or saturday but thats not going to work out, and if it did the wife would be mad at me.
hopefully i get some time tonight in my workshop, it's a mess. then tomorrow i can put up some pegboard and organize a bit.

Same as I've been doing the past 3-4 weekends, and will be doing for at least a couple more: kitchen renovation. Gotta finish putting the cabinets back together, do some more painting, and clear stuff out of the way for the countertop guys to come in and do their thing on Thursday. Next weekend is tile backsplash and lighting installation... when it's done, it'll be really nice, but right now it's a mess.

Today is my daughter's (3rd) birthday, but everyone is really busy, so we're doing Easter dinner and birthday party Sunday.

Just breaking stuff

Mostly building stuff to sell off... and preparing for the onset of winter - painting up the wood-fired stove, and all that.

We had a cool Autumn evening last night, with great rain clouds and a vivid rainbow - first time I've seen one do a full 180 degrees across the sky, with a full 180 degrees visible of a second one as well! Hard to see in the pictures, though....

On top of that, it's been the start of the AFL (Australian Football League) season this weekend.... been a long six months!!!

Like I mentioned earlier, we did Easter, my daughter's 3rd birthday, and my wife's brother's birthday all today at the same time. Quite the event. We had a pretty princess party for her...although I told my brother-in-law when he arrived that the cake was for him.
