Thickness of Jrx Pro rear shock towers.
I am looking at getting an idea of the thickness ranges of the Jrx Pro shock tower. Not the SE, one just the Pro. I only have one on hand and want to get a sample of some others.
Working on a new 3D part and want to make sure I have it fit with as many sizes as possible.
Just as an example of the variations that may exist, the used LXT shock towers I have vary a bunch. A difference of .3mm from thinnest to thickest is a lot with what I am doing.
LXT 3.29mm
LXT 3.13mm
LXT 3.05mm
LXT 2.98mm
LXT 2.92mm
So if anyone can get out their calipers and get a measurement that would be awesome. Thanks!
Dan

that's roughly 12 thousandth overall, or +- .006" from nominal. I would call that pretty typical for flat composite sheet. looks like they are nominally 3mm thick.

My Pro is 2.18. THink the LXT and SE are usually roughly 3mm.
I am curious on the Pro version and if they made changes through the run.

oh i see. I would guess that the pro towers are nominally standard units, .093", or 2.36mm. early on it was usually either .093" or .125" sheet material.

This may or may not help but if they were the same thickness as anything Composite Craft made, they'd be .115" thick since that was their nominal that they used. I'll get some calipers on some things tonight. I've got a Pro rear tower.

I measured mine on several places. It was within .094-.096 depending on where it was measured.
