Dogbone lengths...
Building a mid motor oin RC10 and trying to figure out what dogbones I'll need. Mounting things a bit differently (trans in a slightly different spot/longer arms etc) so it's not as easy as swapping to a B4 bone for example (or maybe it is idk their exact length).
Making my own rear arms so I can tweak the size to a point but I'd like to be about .6" shorter than an RC10T bone or about .5" longer than a stock RC10 bone...As you can tell they are my only references...lol.
I'll assume bones are measured pin center to pin center? If so.......
RC10T - 3.24"
RC10 - 2.2"
So I'm looking for something in the 2.65" - 2.7" range...
(I'm certainly not opposed to a different make or model either...but something readily available of course...)
Anyone have a measurements on a bunch of different bones???
Much appreciated,
Mike

Re: Dogbone lengths...
tower, whether they are correct or not, lists lengths in their tech notes.

Re: Dogbone lengths...
I saw that and standard B4 bone (not the cvd bone) - listed. CVD bone is 2.75" and the standard is 2.5" - just seemed a little short compared to the stocker...so yeah idk how accurate it is.
Also, would the regular bone and the cvd bone vary 1/4"??? idk that either...lol

Re: Dogbone lengths...
i could see a b4 dogbone being shorter than a cvd bone. i don't have any to confirm that though.

Re: Dogbone lengths...
Anyone have a chance to measure anything? Specifically the B4 dogbone?
Thanks
