#6474 spring cup, and clamp question

i've seen that as well and came close to buying a few before spotting them. you could spot the opened packages easily, and sometimes they're dead giveaways like these packages

to me it would seem pretty useless for associated to dye a pair of parts in house when you could easily do it at home. it did have its advantages, as it was stated in early rcca magazines. but i don't see the point of them doing it for thousands of parts.

But those parts were never offered in black, the problem is when a part was molded in both white, and black. We just need to keep a good eye. Correct header card, and some good sense will go a long way:wink:

Well, the 6205 was never sold in black, but also it's mislabeled as a 6206 also. Lots of fail there
