Worlds wheels on an A stamp.

Post by sschering »

I put the worlds wheels 6805 rear, 9688 front on my A stamp this week.

I think the offset is a little tight in the rear

Hi,

Do you have any spacers on your axles if you do put all of them on the outside,

I think the new cva's axles are a little longer to take this spacer on

the outside.

1/4" original stub axles..

Amazing what you can do with a 1/4" drill bit..

I'll check for spacers.. thanks.

Everything clears but you can't use the outer shock mount hole on the rear arms.

Hi,

Well there's your problem those wheels are designed to work with the two parts I gave you and

and these hubs.

or the conversion kit,

I"ll probably do the 6802 conversion kit.. thanks for the tip..

Will the 7364 white carriers work with that?

the new worlds wheels have the same backspacing as an old tq wheel. so i really don't understand why there is such an offset issue on the back.

they don't really look like worlds wheels though......

Damn you are right .. These are 9689 wheels..

I'll go back to my cave feeling stupid now lol.
I didn't glue them so nothing lost but $5..

I also have a full set of Jconcepts wheels in white I could use if I convert the stub axles to 3/16. I bet they are the wrong ones too..

I only paid $16 shipped for the ties and wheels so it's not all that bad.
