the one timer

Post by dubfreak »

hi every one i'd like to show you my latest project. got this litle geme a cople of months ago. when i got it it was like someone went to the hobbyshop bought every thing to built the truck and drive it. the truck was built and actualy well built went to the track drove a battery trough it went home put every thing in the closet and stay there for the rest of it life.

when i got the truck it came with 2 sanyo 1400scr match pack one bran new, a tekin charger, a magnum sport tx-rx, a novak 410-m5, a futaba fp-s148 servo, a warlock racing motor, the front skinny tire still new, the tool box with all the tools needed, fluid, paper work just like if it came back from the track the first time it toched the ground a real time capsul. where the one timer name came from.

my plan is to tear it appart cleaning it and run it at ours indore offroad carpet track a couple of time this winter with modern twist. lets stop talking and here's some pics.

when i first saw it and how it came

what would be the problem to put a rerelease stealth trany in my 10t cuz i would like to run it brushless and i have a new world car trany that i could put in the truck and keep my original in it perfect condition?

some of the modern goodys for the one time
-front and rear rpm arms
-modern wheels front and rear
-t2 cvd kit
-front tire jconcept carver rear should be shumacher
-bearing for the conversion
-mamba max pro esc
-lrp vector k4 sensored motor 10.5t

No problem with using the ReRe trans..except....some sellers are parting them from the Worlds kits. Those have junk cases and idlers. If you can find the ReRe stealth bagged it has the better old style case and idler. If you get the worlds trans just purchase a 6565 case and 6570 idler to make it good. This leads to the next issue...all are discontinued again

got two of those rere. bagged steath trany and one in my rere. world car that EA as send me asc9601-6565-6570 to make it fonctional.but in the end they are the same trany or the gearing is different in the 10t trany? if it the same i'l clean my original 10t trany and will keep it in the box and i'l put a rere trany for riding it.

You don't need to change the tranny.
