Grounded by the wife.

Post by Johnboy72 »

Well I've been grounded for buying too much this week in the ways of RC. Normally I would just tell her to mind her business or convince her it's too good of a deal to pass up. But with the holidays and vacation this month, I see her point. Guess those kiddos need some presents and such. Gotta love it. Did get some good deals though and should have a good start on after the holidays builds. But to actually be grounded. Shaking my head. Any of you get "grounded"????

We have separate accounts  if anyone grounds me, it's my bank. And they do...sometimes lol

This is the reason why you trade wife 1.0 for Girlfriend 2.0. That way they can't complain when you buy a whole bunch of cars you really didn't necessarily need and your dinner table looks like this.

No "My wife is an RC car, and she loves it when I buy her shiny metal goodies."-posts yet?

How disappointing.

"She also doesn't need food, never talks back, nearly always lets out a roar when we have a go at it (except in...those...moments), and will happily let me handle her while watching TV. She even accompanied me to the emergency room once while I was pissing blood!"

And don't forget to post a picture of your RC car sitting on a chair next to its birthday cake.

(for those that don't get it, this is an allusion to those disturbing pictures taken by very lonely anime-fans showing a body-pillow with an image of their favourite fantasy girl having her birthday party with them and a real cake)

That reminds me of a Doctor Phil episode where a wifes husband was in love with an RC car named Susie.
