Kyosho Graupner Go Kart 10

I purchased one off ebay around 10 days ago, I am still waiting for it to arrive it's coming from Germany. Does anybody on here have one? The were made in the early 80's and unlike the ones sold in America, the European Kyosho/Graupner kart 10's don't have the bumpers. It looks really neat, but the one I purchased will need parts and they seem hard to come by. I would like to see pictures or videos of one running. Currently there is one one on eBay, but the seller wants almost $1200 plus shipping.

HI!... That would look cool with a Tamiya Wild Willy driver.

I just googled Wild Willy and that would be cool. As long as the servo could make his arms move for steering it could probably be made to work. The Kart includes the original driver, but it's factory sealed and unpainted, so I am not sure if I want to open it. Thanks for the idea.

Cool videos, I had seen the first one but not the second one. Were those Karts early 80's models? I do prefer the look of the Graupner Kart 10 best, it has the gas tank on the back and no bumpers. As soon as I get mine and get it running I will upload a video of it running on youtube.

Well I just purchased another Kyosho Kart 10 minus the driver and a brand new factory sealed frame which I will keep sealed for the time being.
