There was also a Cox Gasser buggy called a Euro Thrasher. They were recalled almost immediately. I have most of one... but it's rough.

Oh and along with the nissan, they later had a stock car and a Indy car. The later nissan and the others all had the Maples throttle system, which was substantially better idling than the previous muffler setup, but I didn't think they were as fast

Pretty sure they manufactured it or at least were exclusive on the parts that were made for it. It doesn't share parts with anything that I recognize short of some clutch parts that look very "Jerobee-ish". Wheels are an odd four pin drive, front arms are copies of Associated etc

Euro Trasher?
I wonder who came up with that name? I assume thats why it was recalled. I wonder how many of them are out there? I may have to keep a lookout on ebay for one, but I am sure they bring a pretty penny. As for the Cox Indy car, I have a Cox Indy 500 tether car that's new in the box, I always thought it would be fun to convert one to an RC.

Just won a Jerobee Commando with a Alfa body on eBay. I will post more pictures when I receive it, if anyone is interested.

Apologies to all for dragging this thread kicking and screaming into 2021 but it was pointed out to me by a good friend, so I thought I'd add something I got last night.
Another good friend Rob (Bullfrog) dropped this over last night.... it's a Jerobee Challenger 1:12 kit, unused, and with the box and various bits of paperwork. Quite a basic chassis, but this is pristine... This one comes with a factory mounted ESC, and a "Special Rental .05 Motor"... According to the parts list, this model was available for purchase in October 1979, so must have been released before that....

"Damn! What motor are your running in that thing?"
"Special Rental"
That car reminds me of the coin operated speedway things you'd see at the boardwalk, carnival or arcade.
