this is an uncommon car on this forum, original French, a Santana 4x4, I'm going to restore it.

First photos of the car as it was when purchased:


Right now it's in parts, being refreshing.

I tryied to restore each part the best I could, I'll now be able to rebuild it, hoping to replace later some of the most used parts with new ones.

Hi, the chassis is finished, I still have to take care of the body (which is painted inside AND outside )

what I did to get there:
- I've cleaned everything, of course
- I redid a shock front bracket into a piece of carbon that I had in a drawer
- I redid the upper belt cover by recovering the original part's expanded portion and making the long part with a piece of lexan
- I sanded and polished the bottom of triangles, front cell and bumper
- I derusted gimbals and gimbal nut
- I applied a perfect product on dampers to get back their original appearance
- and I rebuilt it

but up to now i haven't have the chance to own it.

I finally received double sided scotch bought on e-bay, so my Santana is now finished

It's not so perfect I hoped, white brushed paint I used to cover defaults is not as white as bomb paint
And I thought I had MRC decals, but finally no, so It will stay like that
