Ok! here is my question:
I have an uncut Pro-line Mirage SS body. I'm thinking of making a mold of it and redesign the mold "slightly". Like an air scoop for example
Is it possible to (by using the mold) massage the uncut buggy body with a heat gun to get the modifications transferred back to the body?

Re: Lexan body massage
In theory that should work the issue may be once you start heating the plastic you start relieving any stored stress which could alter the shape. The other potential problem is that the plasitc may be already stretched to the point that any more deformation may tear. Lexan also absorbs moisture so to prevent any bubbles from forming the body needs to be held at temp for a duration of time to remove moisture.

Re: Lexan body massage
Make a scoop out of styrene, glue in place, make new mold.
