Somebody has been playing with their Solidworks software. Cool rendering! I was playing with some software a while ago too...but not as technical as that!

Why haven't we ever seen plexiglass shock towers before? They look bad ass! 8)

plexi would snap in a heartbeat. now 1/8" or thicker lexan, that would be pretty tough, but flexy.

In one of the Gene Husting videos, i believe it was from a Reedy race (87-88-89 , i'd have to watch them again) i swear Masami is running front arms made of lexan. You can only see them for a second, but they sure look transparent.

Those are some sweet renders. I'll kill for a production run. :D

Niki, did you render those? We've been trying to slowly do the same thing and then load the files to Shapeways so others can create their own car. Would you consider doing this?

The parts would probably be in pretty high demand if you did produce them.

I'm always curious to why those who put in the time and effort for a project are asked for access to those resources by those who didn't. It might well be very commonplace, and I may be ignorant to that. When I designed graphics I was often asked the can-I-have-that-file question at least a dozen times per month.
