Looks like Yok shocks ?? Does anyone know what associated shocks they used to use. ??? I have loads of associated shocks and parts so would be easier for me on a runner ??
I am quite surprised that it went for that much, but hey, at least you're in the door now. Good job.
Those are indeed Yokomo shocks. Hang onto those springs, especially the front copper springs. Those Yokomo copper springs are very hard to find.
On my '94 runner, I run 1.32" AE shocks in the rear (can't remember if I put downtravel limiters in there) and 0.71" or 0.81" up front. Basically whatever shocks you would have run on a Team Car or Worlds Car, you would put on this.
Well car arrived and I have to say the cars in great condition considering what it looks like is the first post.
A bit of surface rush and dust but apart from that its great. Looks like its hardly been used so am happy with my purchase. I have cleaned it and part assembled it now with new allen screws( I prefer the ease ).
Also looks like the bug has bitten as I have just purchase another one and a few spare parts. Will have to see what that comes like and build a racer from them both .
Will post some pictures when it arrives and some of the racer build and the shelfer/spares car.
yes it does have the TCS which is one reason I was happy to land this car !! I will use the tcs in the runner as I think it will save me on belts and spurs
So this is the new YZ10 I just picked up. Been bitten buy the bug this one will be the basis for my runner I think. looks like I need a few more parts for this one tho. I have spotted some different hubs on it and in need of the original wing mounts.
At a glance its a 94, with optional towers, top deck, steering bridge and links, and also steering links, looks a decent basis, wing mounts do pop up from time to time, never that cheap, but they do pop up. Your hubs are Team Suzuki, pretty decent, id leave them on TBH!
I think I am going to replace the hubs as I prefer the screw ones. I also noticed the front wishbone has a bit missing so I would like to replace that.
I did also win some parts from the same guy so I have the stock hubs.
Best get searching for some wing mounts and front wishbones :/ could take a awhile
I acquired this via Facebook. Talked with him some, and found he only ran it a few times. From the looks of it, it definitely hadn't been run much. The belts look new....
Hi. New to the forum. Just dug out my YZ-10 and thinking about getting it rolling again.
When I left my YZ10, I had a bent front left drive shaft that resulted in the front wheel bearings blowing up with some (a lot of) regulaity. The reason why I...

I aleady use the clamp type hexes as they reduce wheel wobble a lot compared to older style standard hexes
My attempt at a 97...not quite finished but couldn't resist posting anyway! Its taken 4 years to get to this after seeing a 2 page spread in the Oct 97 issue of radio race car (photo attached). Enjoy.....

Very cool Paint job - incorporating both the Japanese and the Amercian flag
I recall this one as being an YZ10 - Is this correct?

The hotdog runs works 91 rear arms I believe, in which case you should be able to use the universals from the '91. Part number for the universals is zc-423 I think....
The latest addition to the Yokomo fleet arrived earlier this week. This one will be a runner, so aesthetics aren't an issue. The base car is a '94 but its a got a few nice additions. Front and rear shock towers, carbon steering links and rear camber...

Cheers buddy, here's hoping she's fast. The wheels are by Fastrax / JC, they are still available from JC Racing.
Anyone know any online shops or any where else I can get yz10 parts? I've got a pretty sad car that's missing the right front suspension ( all of it) and needs a top deck plate.
