Electric Blue

Post by Russ Winn »

Well, it's been a while since I've been on the site....not much to do since the local oval track shut down. So I decided to do yet another make over on the TC4.
Here's the part list:
HPI 69 Camaro body, HPI vintage chrome rims / tires, GPM battery strap, 3 Racing chassis braces and motor heat sink, RPM ball cups and Associated factory screw set. Everything else stayed the same since I stopped racing it....Only problem now, is that I don't want to get it dirty!!

Looks good Russ! I have a center chassis brace that might work for that car... BMI??? Same silver graphite you have on the existing chassis braces 8) It's yours when we get back to racing (or bashing).

Thanks, Lobo...just trying to keep my interest in the hobby going.

Chris - What center brace is this? Must be for some type of aftermarket corner braces. The car doesn't have one running fore/aft...unless I'm confused. Actually, I wanted the GPM blue shock towers, but Paypal is being an idiot over trying to access my account...and Ebay is the only place I found them.
Hopefully, things will get sorted out here (along with the weather), and we can go run the cars soon.

The brace was for a TC4 after market graphite chassis. I sold the chassis and parts some time ago and then came across the center brace. Now I just have to find it again

I was getting that way, myself. I finally cleared out and organized my stuff so I can find everything....made a lot of room with all the crap I threw out.
BTW, I sold the short course at the hobby shop, so I have even more room!! Maybe someday I'll find a kit to build (or restore), but the TC4 and my 6-gear will have to do...I'll probably be buried with that one!!!
