Anyone have a Airtronics CS2P radio?

Post by tbfoto »

I just bought a deal on e-bay that included a Airtronics CS2P radio but I'm not able to find much information on it. I havent got it yet but seller says it works. I "googled" it and only found a few refrences about it. I think it may be a FM radio. One artical said that "back in the day" it was THE radio to have.

It's the FM version of the XL2P, which you should be able to find more info on. It's a good radio lots of bells and whistles.

Ditto. I have 2 XL2P and i have been toyiing with making it usable in my vintage racing class.

I'd love an FM version. Anyone know if its as simple as swapping the module?

I had e-mailed Airtronics and asked them about a manual for this radio. I heard nothing for about two weeks then today I got an e-mail apoligizing for the delay and a PDF file of the manual. I havent had the time to go through it but id does look like a nice radio. I'm still waiting on the shipment of this from a deal on e-bay. I hope it's here tomorrow. Oh yeah...one other thing.....it's coming with a complete RC10T2 and two bodies. The seller says it's in great shape and ready to race. Not run...race. So.....we'll see
