Good stuff for RC300/200.
never seen this before.
i just have the original Gear diff.
If you´re talking about SG and PB pan cars, yes they look similar but not the same.
SG was an Italian manufacturer, PB was British.
SG was using a rocking front end with several of their cars, PB not.
Lots of small differences if you compare pictures.
For rear muffler, the SG was made from a steel or brass metal sheet and chrom plated, the PB was made from aluminium.
Thanks V12 looks very similar. I got a lot of SG parts from a old hobby shop that closed. The new in packet fuel tank i got is chrome and the chassis parts are a heavy...definitely not aluminum.
Hi there 1:8 scale guru's!
I've been trying to find out (and find!) what body Art Carbonell used on his early Delta cars back in the day.
Can someone tell me the name/producer if the body as shown in these two pics?
Thanks in advance!
Mick
Arturo used other bodies before as this is not really an early Delta car.
But regarding your question, this is a MRP Spyder body, hard to find.
I have lots of other vintage bodies as Elfin, Ligier Maserati etc. but not this Spyder.
There was also a SG Spyder but it is nowhere the beauty of the MRP.
Those look awesome V12...aftermarket for sure. No clue as it seems very vintage so doubt its a Rogue Elements product.
Let me guess then...Imma say Associated?
I think you may be correct, the layout of the rivet area for the wire looks identical. Thorp was a big player in 1:8 on road so that makes sense
