Brushed motor and vintage ESC questions
Re: Brushed motor and vintage ESC questions
I mis-typed that last post. It's fixed now.

Nope, that's where they keep the brakes. Can't hurt anything there85Edinger wrote:I'm sorry I didn't do a good job explaining this.
Does anything happen if you tell a correctly set up non-reverse ESC to go backwards?
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: Brushed motor and vintage ESC questions
Hi 85Edinger,
I`ve seen that the one or other question is not answered from your first request. "gomachv" described exactly how to find 0° timing. I`ve included a pdf-sheet which I made myself with AutoCAD to set further timing. The red line in the middle is 0° timing. Cut one small strap, hold the red line in the center between the two magnets - your 0° timinig - and now you can set your Timing in 2,5° steps and also between. I marked 10°, 20°, 30° and 40° timing. It`s a nice small feature and you can set timinig in ° steps when the marking from your modified motor is not longer visible.
I would also cut the comm from your Peak motor. It doesn`t look to good.
Greetings
