Kyosho now on the re-re bandwagon - Scorpion
Re: Kyosho now on the re-re bandwagon - Scorpion
Here is the tomahawk chassis that won the IFMAR, do not know the details, its clearly a tomahawk chassis from the CF tray you see. Lars showed the original buggy in action! Cool stuff.

Hop ups include kyosho gold shocks in front, short ones and I believe medium CB-89s at the rears. Also machined front trailing arm retainers (if you know what I mean). The vintage buggy can definitely give the new one a run for its money at the races:lol:
No closeup of those list of hopups. There are so many. Its good kyosho is giving hop-up parts rather than making separate line of buggies- turbo scorpion, tomahawk, beetle and sidewinder. If they produce the other bodies as options, man they wil make some serious $$$$$ and the the 'fire' will continue burning long after this hype is over.
Nice rear and front tires, the centerline wheels look sweet and very shiny
, guessing the fronts are 2.0 or 2.1 size? They look bigger.
I know as part of the option, you will be getting CVD swing shafts for sure. It would have been cool if kyosho makes those trailing arms from titanium!!! I would get them for $200 even.

I believe it is sometime in June or August. I don't remember exactly since I was talking to the kyosho guys about the new Laser buggy as well.

ok, thanks.
I'm a little surprised as well to have not heard any rumours about other possible Kyosho re-releases.

That Kyosho rep didn't seem to know too much about it. I could have gave a better presentation just based off of what I've read online about it. Amain is saying July but I'm hoping dude is right and it's June. I can't wait to get one of these. Loving the GoodYear lettering on the tires and the fact that it's aluminum. There's enough of a difference from the original so it won't be confused by those who know. It's a beautiful looking buggy. I might need 2...

I heard from a reliable source in Japan that it will be July. Kyosho pushed back the date to increase production to meet demand
