Re: team losi made parts for rc10?
RPS (Ranch Pit Shop) was owned by Losi Sr iirc and pre dated the Losi brand. They made hop ups for RC10 as well as pinions, importing the Yokomo, etc. Losi started branding it over to their name later on, and the JRX-2 came out well after that. They didn't start by building the RC10 killer

Re: team losi made parts for rc10?
there is a great article on vintagelosi.com
http://vintagelosi.com/History.html
just a small excerpt:
http://vintagelosi.com/History.html
just a small excerpt:
Team Losi got its start in the early 80s making pinions and spur gears. They also made nerf bars for Tamiya cars. A lot of the parts were handmade in the shop.
Gil Losi Sr and Gil Losi Jr later started making hop-up parts for Yokomo and Team Associated kits. They also helped design some of the early Team Associated kits like the RC10 and RC10L. They stopped making the hop-up parts for RC10 after their supplier stopped manufacturing the parts. The supplier quit making the parts and got a “real job”. Continuing to make them “the right way” would have been too expensive.
Team Losi really got going as their own kit company after problems with Team Associated and Yokomo.

Re: team losi made parts for rc10?
The part(s) you are specifically referring to in the ebay link is the hydra drive for the stealth transmission. This consists of an adapter type top shaft that is stealth compatible on the gearbox side and accepts the Losi proprietary teched friction and hydro slipper assembly on the spur side. The Hydra-drive fit a multitude of manufacturer's kits if you had the adapter top shaft for a particular model.
