I think you can figure out how to install the wheels...it looks pretty well built to me.

Re: TRC/COMPOSITE CRAFT LYNX2 ELITE SS
Those parts aren't for that car. Like Temple said, it's already built.
Put some TRC BBS or NASCAR spokes, and a wide Bolink T-bird body on it and call it a day.
There was never a side dampner tube on that car. It was probably for an early Trinity EV or Revolver. The Lynx use the rear swaybar as the side-to-side spring. Those other parts weren't for the car you pictured (quite a few 1/12th scale parts from what I can see).

Nice car, BTW.

Re: TRC/COMPOSITE CRAFT LYNX2 ELITE SS
Oh, by the way, the solid fiberglass rollover antenna was definitely NOT used on 1/10th scale cars—especially oval cars. Not period correct, not accurate... never used on anything other than 1/12th scale on road/carpet cars. They were considered very dangerous on cars moving at 60+ on any oval track.
All 1/10th scale pan cars used standard flexi antennas like a buggy.

Or one of those triangle TRC underbody antennas.Eau Rouge wrote: All 1/10th scale pan cars used standard flexi antennas like a buggy.

I'll also agree, that car is very nice.

Re: TRC/COMPOSITE CRAFT LYNX2 ELITE SS
Might have come with it, but they weren't legal for competitive road racing or oval racing.
To this day, rollover antennas are only legal for 1/12th scale cars.

Re: TRC/COMPOSITE CRAFT LYNX2 ELITE SS
I can see the logic behind the safety concerne. It`s all fun & games till someone pokes an eye out !!!
The being period correct and never being used on 1/10 cars is what I am refering to.

Re: TRC/COMPOSITE CRAFT LYNX2 ELITE SS
ok fellas time to clear up some details..a very pleasent suprise came in the mail from the seller of the lynx as a second package that he forgot to send top bloke ha?.. first of all were the supplement instructions for the ss and on reading was suprised to learn quite a few differences over the stardard kit....doug im sorry to say that the damper tube is factory as stated (look at pic) and is full of silcon grease looks cool ha.. the aieral is also glass with red top from factory just like my pro 10 kit ...the front axles are bigger and take a bigger bearing(inner diameter) and fasten with a nylon nuts instead of small alloy ones...rear alloy diff hubs are listed with different part numbers compared to standard kit #5666 & #5670 (the ones i recieved were packeted)and are the standard ones (damn it) the graphite axle (came with 2 of) is to long in the hub assembly and extends out to far past the hub to put pressure on the thrust bearing it is not a pro setup containing a centre bearing mount for the diff (doubt its the correct axle for this reason) ..the normal lynx uses flanged bearings in the hub mine says to use un- flanged...the front magnesium alxe is 2 piece so different camber angles can be set independantly fron each wheel....the rear body mounts locate on the top link plate not on the chassis....the chassis is different has narrow front end and on the right side of the chassis curls over on the outside edge of the chassis could be a flaw? you think?... batteries mount on the left of coarse...has factory ground effects lower pod...alumium silver screws instead of steel and twin alloy cinch blocks... last but not least is the purple pro shock (option on the original)standard in this kit which i bought when i raced them in 90 (circuit)...there is something about the look of these cars so neat in there appearence and quality built got to love composite craft pieces! the chassis in the pic with the pro 10 any idea what racing its meant for? man i have edited this post a few times now hope it reads alright guys

Re: TRC/COMPOSITE CRAFT LYNX2 ELITE SS
nice car mauri hunter. i had one just like it, except mine was the LTO version, with the offset oval chassis. it also came with a complete set of trc radial capped tires on the zr-1 wheels. staggered too.
i believe the original box w/ the instructions is still in my parents basement.
