Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
This has probably been asked on the forum before but I struggled to find anything, but are these thunder tiger wheels the same as on the Worlds Car, but obvoiusly in white?

I do believe they have a close offset, but not 100% sure they are the same! They will fit for sure, but may be a tiny bit narrow.

Ok, it's all good, I managed to source some AE's ones in white anyway, so it doesn't matter now anyway, cheersslotcarrod wrote:I do believe they have a close offset, but not 100% sure they are the same! They will fit for sure, but may be a tiny bit narrow.

The Thunder Tiger wheels are the ones I have used for the past couple years. They work perfect and are the right offset.

Have also ordered some 5 spoke JC Racing wheels, may consider dying a set black to see how that will look on my "pink & white" worlds

Re: #6002
Code: Select all
lol..same here and I promised myself that the re-re classic would be my first and last AE car. My wallet won't allow me to get one yet but hopefully the fact that the WC is not a limited release will at least give me an opportunity to purchase one in the future....maybe.sandkil wrote:I'm running out of space... honestly!! Hey
So I had the problem with the top shaft in my build.
It felt horrible to turn the gearbox over by hand.
Anyway I got a new b4 top shaft to replace it.
But it doesn't fit.
Oh it's the MIP part if that makes any difference.
What am I doing wrong here?
Thanks

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
the MIP top shaft for the B4 has the spacer built into the shaft. the AE part the spacer is separate. for the stealth, the spacer is not needed...so the MIP shaft does not work

Ah.
Ok, well that explains it
Thanks JK
Fortunately I have a B4.2, so I guess I can just swap the MIP one into that car.

I also had the top shaft issue - inner slipper hub rubbed on the motor plate and the transmission was rough.
AE sending me a replacement.
